A topper that fit perfectly on day one can start to feel "off" after a few weeks or months. It might slip, sit too high, show its edges, or no longer match your own hair. The good news: these problems are almost always fixable — and you do not even have to leave home. Our stylists can come to you to adjust and refresh your topper.

Common topper problems (and what causes them)

It slips or moves during the day

Clips can loosen with wear, or your own hair may have changed in density where the clips grip. We tighten or reposition clips, or add extra anchor points, so the topper stays secure.

You can see where it ends

If the edges of the base or a line between topper and natural hair is visible, it usually needs a better blend cut or a small change in placement. We re-cut and texturize the hair so it melts into yours.

The colour no longer matches

Your natural hair grows, fades and changes with the seasons. A topper that matched in spring may look different by fall. We can tone, adjust or recommend a colour solution so everything blends again.

It looks flat, dry or frizzy

Product build-up, heat and everyday wear take their toll. A professional wash, conditioning treatment and style brings back movement and shine.

The part looks too wide or too dense

We can restyle the part, adjust direction and thin out areas that look heavy so the part looks natural.

3. We assess the fit, adjust clips, re-cut, refresh and restyle as needed.
4. We show you how to wear and care for it, so it stays right between visits.
